Job Purpose (State in one sentence the overall objective of the role)
This position will be responsible for performing statistical modeling and advanced analytics to build risk assessment due generic erosion & to support LoE strategy. Understanding of pricing and market implications due to genericisation required.
Major Accountabilities (Describe the 5-7 main results of the role to be achieved )
• Developing a risk assessment model for a better understanding of the generic threat against Novartis brands
• Refining the model and customizing it to the major country organizations
• Supporting the cross-divisional teams within Novartis with up-to-date information on the developments within pharma and broader healthcare environments (including com-petitor activities) that may result in early generic penetration in different countries
• Working closely with cross functional teams at Center of Excellence Hyderabad and with Lifecycle Innovation Team in Basel for development of LoE strategy and risk as-sessment
• Taking up ad-hoc projects as required, including addressing senior management re-quests for ad-hoc analyses within a short notice

Key Performance Indicators / Measures of Success
• Strategic- Understand key market trends including company strategies
• Effectiveness – Minimal errors in the statistical modeling and assessments (less than 10% de-viation)
• Analytical – can develop new KPIs with enhanced thinking on best way to present and run data
• Forecasting Trends – can forecast the market trends based on historical data and input from desk research / IMS Market Prognosis Report / other data sources, indicating the likelihood of different scenarios
• Quality – feedback from the LCI Management / Cross-functional teams / Senior Management / other stakeholders to be at or above the agreed parameters
• Presentation Capability – Is able to produce PowerPoint Slides that clearly communicate analyses to the senior management
• Business Acumen – understands the need to track performance against internal Budget (finan-cial) targets and can produce analyses to track this
• Timeliness – All timelines for the projects / ad-hoc requests to be met or exceeded
