Full Description:
* The ideal candidate should have atleast 12 to 15 years of experience as a business journalist, preferably entirely in the print media or at least a large part of it in print.
* As a top level editorial asset, you will work closely with the Business Editor and the Business Desk of the newspaper on your chosen area/ sector of business news, filing news stories, analyses and interviews as and when the beat throws up news stories.
* In consultation with the Business Editor, he/she would be expected to file news copy that demystifies business and explains the developments to a mass audience, including readers in print and on the web who may not understand complex terms, jargons or acronyms.
* He/she would be required to collaborate, input, interview and provide news copy on a regular basis to help turn the business section into a lively & complete product.
* He/she would file copy on deep background, connecting various developments to show how patterns might emerge and how business eventually affects the daily lives of people.
* He/she would be expected to file stories of human interest that help document the changing face of India, as the market evolves, as businesses grow and as the competitive landscape changes dramatically.

* Ability to multitask and meet tight timelines in a fast-paced work environment.
* Flexibility in schedule and ability to manage 24x7 operations.
